YOUNG BAR
Young barristers are the future of the profession, and the first seven years of practice are crucial to building a thriving practice. Find out about support, guidance and opportunities available to you and how the Wales and Chester Circuit supports barristers through their early years of practice below.

We define barristers by their experience. A newly qualified barrister in their 50s would be as ‘young’ as a newly qualified barrister in their 20s. Both individuals would experience similar challenges in the early years of practice.
Below is a list of the individuals who act as the Young Bar Representative for each region on Circuit. These are the individuals to contact if you have any query or request relating to the Young Bar on Circuit.
